Mr. Bradley is successful businessman and entrepreneur with over forty years in Aerospace, Defense and Turbine engine business arenas. As President of R. Bradley & Associates LTD better known as “The Photonics Group”. The company was founded in December of 1997 and specialties in Photonics disciplines along with aviation and aerospace requirements.

As the most tenured recruiter at R. Bradley & Associates, Mr. Bradley has placed over 1000 people in his career all in operations, engineering or C level positions in Aerospace and Defense companies. These include such companies as Raytheon, DRS, Lockheed Martin, Litton Laser/ Northrop Grumman and L-3, Kearfott Guidance and Navigation, Bombardier, (Tucson), Marotta Controls Communications, and other similar companies.

Mr.  Bradley as a recruiter, specializes in aviation and aerospace disciplines including both permanent placement and contractors within aviation, aerospace, and department of defense contractors. The positions involve engineering, manufacturing operations and C level positions.

“As a Professional recruiter it is my job to find the best available talent on the market for specific needs of the company. To start with, I will complete a needs analysis with the hiring manager to fully understand the scope of the position. Once fully understood, I will source the candidates, first via my own database of talent and then using all the available tools in the market. I will submit a candidate datasheet to provide in-depth descriptions of the candidates’ qualifications. I will work with the hiring authority to schedule interviews with company hiring managers. During the recruiting process, I will provide constant communication between both the candidate and company. I will provide the company with the compensation requirements of the candidate and perform reference verifications if asked. Once selected, I will work with the candidate and company through the offer and acceptance process. In a typical search, I will provide three to five candidates who have been thoroughly vetted and who will meet the material qualification of the job as written.”

Mr. Bradley fully understands the aviation / MRO business. Prior to the founding of R. Bradley & Associates, “Bob” owned and operated two FAA repair stations, one in Sanford, NC and the other in West Palm Beach, Florida. These two locations specialized in the overhaul and repair of both commercial and military turbine engine and airframe components and industrial gas turbine components. Bob sold these companies to Engelhard Corporation in 1995 and became the General Manager for their facility in Greenville, SC. In the 10 years before this, he was employed by Sulzer Inc. as a factory engineer that supported the onsite overhaul, repair, and manufacture of engine components for GE Aircraft engines in Wilmington, NC, NAVAIR Norfolk and NADEP Cherry Point, NC.

Bob maintained an FAA Mechanics License in both North Carolina and Florida. In addition, he is a licensed pilot.  Among his many accomplishments, Bob and his close friend Mike, flew a twin-engine Piper Aztec around the world as a fund raiser for St Jude Children’s Hospital.
