Prior to joining WorldBridge Partners, Malaya held various senior management positions as Country Head Human Resources and Director of Human Resources in a number of large, multi-national organizations in the Hospitality and Technology sectors. She has also worked for other segments such as FMCG (Lipton - Unilever), Package Industry (TNT) and Healthcare (RPO of United Health Group). As an Executive Search Consultant, Malaya brings to this role over 16 years of Human Resources management experience including 13 years of Recruiting experience at all levels within an enterprise environment.
Malaya's primary focus is on the Hospitality sector. With over 10 years of senior management level experience within this Industry, she is able to bring perspective and a true consultative value to her Clients, Employers and Candidates alike. She is committed to building long-term relationships with both parties while maintaining the highest standard of ethics, integrity and honesty in her dealings with them. She is a firm believer that effective Recruiting is a "Win-Win" game for the Employer and the Candidate and is committed to keeping it that way.
Malaya earned her Bachelor of Arts from University of Calcutta, India and Post-Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management & Training and Development from National Institute of Personnel Management, India. She is a certified ISO 2000 Lead Auditor from IQA International Register of Certified Auditors, U.K. She has also attended a number of Management Development Programs in London Business School, Cornell and Carnegie Mellon. She is currently working on her SPHR certification. She enjoys world travel, music, reading and family time.
